The south of Germany is still especially closely entwined in my heart, after all I was born and raised in Heidelberg. I travel to this area a few times a year to visit friends and family.
I like the relaxed friendly way of life of the Southerners. When the weather is good, people meet up outside in a beer garden, stroll through the city or hike in the lovely fairy-tale-like woods. I love ambling through small romantic laneways, letting my eye wander over old half-timber houses with their wooden shingles. Then I often think of the hikes from my younger days through the beautiful Blackforest. One can still witness old traditional craftsmanship here such as glassblowing, celebrations with decorated horses and people in festive traditional dress as well as elaborately carved and ornately decorated woodwork. These are the things that I sometimes miss in Miami along with their childlike memories of a lovely, secure time, which often pass through my thoughts. I capture the most beautiful moments for you in this world of style and through my products, let a little of my home move in with you.
